How to help urinary pain?

I'm male, 18 years old. When I was about 6 or 7 I had dysuria with hematuria and saw a urologist and nephrologist but it eventually cleared up on it's own. Now 10 years later it's back with a vengeance. Went to PCP and all he could tell me was that it is NOT UTI and I have to go back to the urologist but his closest appointment (made a week ago) is a month from today and I can't take the pain anymore. I've been taking pyridium/AZO standard and it barely puts a dent in the pain. At this time there is NO blood in the urine. Microscopy etc. also showed no proteins, WBCs, nitrites, or bacteria. Is there ANYTHING I can do to help the pain for another month? Or should I appeal to my doctor? Also not sexually active (no STD).
